Reelish turns cooking videos into recipes you keep. It is built local-first: there is no account and no sign-in, your recipe library lives on your device, and we do not run ads, track you, or sell your data. This policy explains the few cases where data leaves your device, and why.
Your saved recipes, collections, shopping list, cooking history, and any photos you add live in the app on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, this library also syncs to your own private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit) so it appears on your other devices. We have no access to your private iCloud data, and it is not used for anything other than syncing your library to you.

None of this is tied to your identity — Reelish has no login, so this data is not linked to you and is never used for advertising or tracking. If you use an on-device voice, or you are offline, no recipe text leaves your device.
Recipe extraction and the optional "Reelish Natural" narration are processed on our own servers and, for narration, by OpenAI, which generates the audio. Generated audio is cached so it does not need to be regenerated. We do not send your identity, contacts, or location to any third party.
Reelish Pro is sold only through Apple's In-App Purchase. We never see your card details; Apple handles billing.
Reelish is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
You can export your entire library at any time from Settings, and delete recipes or the app whenever you like — removing the app removes its on-device data. To remove the copy synced to your iCloud, sign out of or manage iCloud in your device's system settings.
